Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm Indiana-born and raised, home of the Colts, the Pacers, and the Indianapolis 500. For as long as I could remember, I have been a geek, from watching Disney animated movies on VHS to recreating the fight scenes from the Power Rangers in the backyard. More recently, I've turned my love of fandom into blogging, cosplaying, and podcasting. During the day, I work in IT for a local university. When I'm not podcasting I'm likely playing Dungeons and Dragons, spending way too much time on my phone, or at the gym.

Since 2014 I have been co-hosting and producing the Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast, an all-female-driven pop culture podcast; and since 2020 I have been co-hosting Gold Standard, where we are currently watching and reviewing every Academy Award winner for Best Picture in chronological order.
