Vacation Wish List

With graduation from college looming in my near future, my husband and I are looking forward to having more free time to travel. And while we'll keep going to Walt Disney World on a regular basis we are also compiling a list of other places we'd like to see.

New York City
I've only been to NYC once for one afternoon back in 2002. I'd love to stay for a long weekend and be able to explore more of the city like Times Square and Central Park.

When he was in the Boy Scouts my husband took a couple of boating trips in the Maine area. He loved it and has been wanting to go back for several years to show me since I've never been to that part of the country before.

Las Vegas
I went to Vegas a few years ago with my mom and while they were there for a week I'd like to go back and see more of the sights including Las Vegas Speedway and some of the shows.

France, Germany, England...pretty much most of Western Europe
Neither of us have been that far out of the USA, we're seriously considering exploring this part of the world via Viking River Cruises. Chauncey loves traveling via boat along rivers and I tend to feel more comfortable traveling to unfamiliar places when they're organized by professionals like what Viking does.

San Francisco
The Golden Gate Bridge, Candlestick Park, The Walt Disney Family Museum and the home Metallica's headquarters....

This one is pretty much all on my husband, for some reason he's developed a fascination with Russia and wanting to visit there. This may also end up happening via Viking River Cruises.

A Birthday Wish

So my birthday is coming up soon and I've had a few people ask me what I want. Honestly I'm not too picky when it comes to presents, however as people have been asking I thought I'd put it out there so there's no confusion.

It's no secret that I'm a Disney fanatic, it's an obsession and I'm proud of it. So for my birthday I'm asking people to feed the habit (available online and at your local Disney store)!

Let me say that regardless of any gifts received, I'll keep going to Disney World, but I figure if you can't ask for what you want on your birthday when can you (besides Christmas but that's Santa's job LOL!)

So there you go, now everyone knows what they can get me for my upcoming birthday (and graduation, and Christmas.....)

New video! You should give Goodwill a try!

Super City!

So unless you're living under a rock, pretty much everyone knows that the Super Bowl is coming up this weekend and is taking place in my hometown of Indianapolis. It's taken over a good chunk of the city with the NFL Experience at the convention center and the Super Bowl village along Georgia Street. Since I go to school downtown I parked on campus and walked over to where many of the festivities are taking place.

They had a 4-lane zip line that ran the length of the convention center

 The weather has been wonderful!

We weren't planning on going into the NFL Experience because the tickets were so expensive ($25 a person for adults!) but on our way over there these people stopped us and offered us two tickets for $20! So thanks random people!

They had people on site making NFL regulation footballs, they're all made by hand

 THE Lombardi Trophy

The roman numerals lit up and showed pictures and video with sound
