Vacation Wish List

With graduation from college looming in my near future, my husband and I are looking forward to having more free time to travel. And while we'll keep going to Walt Disney World on a regular basis we are also compiling a list of other places we'd like to see.

New York City
I've only been to NYC once for one afternoon back in 2002. I'd love to stay for a long weekend and be able to explore more of the city like Times Square and Central Park.

Maine
When he was in the Boy Scouts my husband took a couple of boating trips in the Maine area. He loved it and has been wanting to go back for several years to show me since I've never been to that part of the country before.

Las Vegas
I went to Vegas a few years ago with my mom and while they were there for a week I'd like to go back and see more of the sights including Las Vegas Speedway and some of the shows.

France, Germany, England...pretty much most of Western Europe
Neither of us have been that far out of the USA, we're seriously considering exploring this part of the world via Viking River Cruises. Chauncey loves traveling via boat along rivers and I tend to feel more comfortable traveling to unfamiliar places when they're organized by professionals like what Viking does.

San Francisco
The Golden Gate Bridge, Candlestick Park, The Walt Disney Family Museum and the home Metallica's headquarters....

Russia
This one is pretty much all on my husband, for some reason he's developed a fascination with Russia and wanting to visit there. This may also end up happening via Viking River Cruises.

  1. I agree with most of your list!! We are planning a trip to NYC right now and I'm dying to go back to Maine. We are also discussing a Mediterannean cruise!! Love your list!!

  2. Oh the Mediterranean, that sounds fun. I want to go back to NYC so badly but DH isn't too keen on the idea (he's not really into big cities). I'm sure if I thought about it the list would be even longer but those are the first ones that came to mind.
