Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Time is a funny thing, it seems the older I get, the faster it seems to go. Personally, I try to live my life day to day, enjoying the little things. That being said, it's always fun to look into the future and imagine where you might be 1, 5, 10, 15 years down the line. Of course you can make plans till the cows come home, and they don't always turn out the way you think, but both my husband and I think that having goals to aim for is important to us. So for fun, let's look at where I think I'll be in 5 years (not necessarily a bucket list as that's for another post).

-In better shape. While I would love to loose a few pounds, my top priority is really to get myself into better shape and health. I've suffered from illness and injury that has caused my 31 year old body on some days to feel more like it's 81. I know I can't stop myself from getting older, but I have some control on how my body ages.

-Closer to being debt free. Don't get me wrong, I highly value my education and going to graduate school and getting my masters was a great decision based on my situation. However, I hate how expensive getting an education is these days. I'm glad I'm done and got a good job, so I no longer feel like I just have an expensive piece of paper hanging on my wall, but it was still expensive.

-Mom to a cat or two. Right now our apartment doesn't allow pets of any kind. While we're okay with this now (our apartment is pretty nice all things considering), eventually we'd like to get a couple of cats. Of course this will requiring moving to a place that would allow pets, which for now isn't really necessary or a top priority.
