40 before 40 (Parks and Rec visual aides edition)
So I've seen several of these posts on various blogs, sometimes there "40 before 40" or "30 before 30". Regardless of the number, think of these lists as a pseudo bucket list but with a harder deadline. Since I've already passed 30, my next major milestone birthday will be when I turn 40 (considering I turn 32 literally tomorrow). Sure I could aim for 35, but considering that's 3 years away, I'm being practical and giving myself a bit more time.
Will I cross all of these off, maybe not, even with 8 years to go. However I certainly want to see how many I do accomplish by the time I turn 40. The fact that I have a couple already done certainly helps. Obviously I'll be posting periodically to check in on my progress, plus posting about the specific event as well. I don't mind getting older, what I do mind is getting older and letting the world pass me by. There's just too much fun to be had!

ReplyDeleteOf course! New York is just a little harder to visit, so it may take some time. Although if I do get to attend NY Comic Con someday, then it's a given!
ReplyDeleteNumber 9! Number 9! Number 9.....(bonus points since it's both Disney related AND how the number is a Beatles reference!). It's too bad Comic Con is in July and Gallifrey One is in January. Otherwise you could knock that out and Disney on the same trip.
ReplyDeleteI know! Gallifrey One is certainly high on my list of priorities, it sounds like so much fun! We'd certainly try and make it a two-fer and go to Disneyland in the same trip. We'll see!
