The (extremely) belated wedding reception report....

As most of you know my husband and I were married in December of 2009 at Walt Disney World. We had a small ceremony with just our closest family and friends, so as a way to give everyone an opportunity to celebrate we had a reception back here in Indiana where we got to do all of the things we didn't get to do in Florida (first dance, bouquet toss, etc.) We held it at a church near my in-laws, the sanctuary is a large octagonal shaped room and we worked on transforming it into a party that everyone would enjoy!

Our decor reflected the theme from our wedding, Old Hollywood with colors inspired by the peacock feather....

Our guest table and "card box"

My mother-in-law designed these to show off some of our wedding pictures, there were four of them, one in each corner of the dance floor

Our yummy cake inspired by the "Mad Hatter" style cake with our cake topper from our Disney Wedding cake

Our sweetheart table

Our seating chart

Smile for the camera! (No my mom wasn't our photographer, we had the wonderful Marty Moran from Bello Romance Photography)

 Entering on the red carpet

Time to eat!

Then it was time to mingle

Me on the phone with my brother, trying to give him directions

Time for cake!

Chauncey's brother and his friend surprised me with a rendition of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"

Then we had our first dance to Rascal Flatts' "God Blessed The Broken Road"

My dad wasn't able to attend so instead of a father-daughter dance we had a brother-sister dance to "Unforgettable"

Chauncey and his mom danced to "Daydream Believer"

In true Chauncey fashion he edited the song so that in the middle it broke into a few second of a Metallica song

Then right back into "Daydream Believer", complete with high kicks

Then the dance floor was open to everyone
