Great idea! We had talked about doing the same for my husbands Pop-Pop who was also in WW2 and has lived through A LOT; but have yet to finalize plans to visit his family this year. It's incredible to think about how many changes they lived through right?
I know. I wish I would have had the same resources when my own grandparents were alive. It's amazing how much both his grandpa and grandma remember, I barely remember things I did a year ago! We got hours of footage and tons of old pictures that my mother-in-law has scanned for preservation so the legacy will live on.
