Gentlemen start your....tortoises?

So the month of May means one thing if you're a Hoosier....racing! The Indianapolis 500 is a tradition beyond all others here in Indy and with it comes all sorts of pomp and circumstance that take over the state for the entire month. One staple that has been around for several decades is the Zoopolis 500 which is held every year at the Indianapolis Zoo. I've been lucky enough to attend the last few years and it's always fun to watch and today was no exception. We had beautiful weather so the people came out in droves to enjoy both the race and the zoo itself.

After the race I spent the afternoon enjoying the rest of the zoo. I only visit a couple of times a year so it's fun to see what changes have been made since my last visit.
